Job Summary

The manual QA engineers will be responsible for the managing the design (look and feel) and testing of the applications being developed. Oversees QA engineers and UI/UX engineers coordinates with US business stakeholders to ensure test plans meet requirements. Ensures QA is considered in project timelines and applications are properly tested before being released to production.

  • Must have work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Able to Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback.
  • Able to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Able to provides design guidance for UI/UX.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Must have extensive experience in manual testing.
  • Must have experience in API testing.
  • Must have database knowledge.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Track project progress from a QA perspective.
  • Good to have experience with automated testing tools such as LoadRunner and Selenium.
  • Good experience working on Agile teams and extensive familiarity with all Agile ceremonies.
  • Coordinates with US business stakeholders to ensure test plans meet requirements.
  • Keeps current with new technologies and software methodologies related to the Microsoft software development platform.
  • Responsible for participating in all stages of the development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Work with US business stakeholders to ensure requirements are being met.
  • Should be adaptable to US time zone whenever required to have meetings with onshore counterparts.
  • Good experience working on Agile teams and extensive familiarity with all Agile ceremonies.
  • Keeps current with new software testing methodologies related to the Microsoft software development platform.


  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in software QA including test plan development, documentation, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Experience working with Agile teams and familiarity with all Agile ceremonies and principles.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience with client-side technology (Angular 7+, TypeScript, and RXJS).
  • Experience working with following is preferred:
    1. a. Automated testing frameworks such as LoadRunner and Selenium
      b. Microsoft Test Plans and Azure Dev Ops
      c.Knowledge of web design, HTML5, and CSS
      d. Design tools such as InVision or Adobe XD
      e. SQL Server 2016

  • Understanding of the software development life-cycle.
  • Understanding of various test runner platforms.
  • Knowledge of web development, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and browser compatibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment.
